I just turned 41 two days ago and with aching knees, hips, a world in an uproar, laundry that never seems to get done and hair that just doesn’t seem to fall in place, I am all for something amazing.

Seriously, amazing is all around us in our simple choices.  Amazing is our child like wonder at the clouds in the sky, the juicy peach from the Farmer’s Market (unless your children eat them all before you get one), a kind gesture from a friend, the opportunity to go to bed early.

Or Amazing Grass Protein Superfood.  No lie.

As a Sweat Pink ambassador, Amazing Grass sent me their Protein Superfood (chocolate peanut butter. OMG) to review in exchange for my honest opinion (which I always give).  They were also kind enough to send me a Prana yoga towel, a produce bad made out of hemp and a super cool mason jar.

This protein comes in three flavors (original, pure vanilla and chocolate peanut butter), has 20 grams of plant based protein per serving (pea, chia, hemp and quinoa), has seven alkalizing greens in it, is Non-GMO, no added sugar, USDA Organic and counts as 2 servings of fruits and vegetables.

So, as to the question all of my friends ask me when I start talking about food that I eat and the benefits of it:

I was a little skeptical at first because I have had protein powders with a lot of good stuff in it that tastes like dirt. This one does not disappoint! I have been super busy lately (and HOT and lazy) so it’s been a go to lately for my smoothies as I go to and from the gym.  I may add a banana, some PB2, some oats or maybe even all of them if I’m hungry with some almond milk and sip away.

This morning, I put some in my first successful protein pancake ever. 🙂

1/3 cup oat flour (save your money. Just blend some rolled oats)

1/3 cup of chocolate milk (I used coconut almond milk)

1/2 scoop of Amazing Grass Chocolate Banana Protein Superfood

2 Tbsp of PB2

2 tsp. of olive oil

1 tsp. of baking powder

dash of salt

I mixed it all up, sprayed the skillet with an olive oil spray, flipped and put it on my plate with a little maple syrup. That was good!
