To say my life is crazy right now is an understatement.
To say I like to eat is an even bigger understatement.
For these reasons, January has been a challenge.
While I feel like I just can’t get enough food in my belly after teaching what seems like a million classes a day and training quite a few clients, some days (like last night), I have, literally, passed out after my shower without dinner from exhaustion. I hear you, hardcore people, on the “no excuses” for good nutrition but, well, I’m just not that hard core. Sometimes I need it to be a little easier.
First, let me say that I pretty much love every product by Manitoba Harvest.
As a busy, active plant-based eater, solid, effective, convenient protein is a MUST (I’m eating Manitoba Harvest Hemp Hearts in my oatmeal right now). My reviews are always truthful and I expected to have nothing but good things to say about this product.
I was right.
With three different flavors, less than 250 calories and ten grams of protein per bar, this has been my saving grace when I was in between classes or on my way home, knowing I wasn’t going to make it to the kitchen to eat dinner. To some, hemp is an “acquired taste,” but if you don’t go into it expecting it to taste like your favorite candy bar then you will find the flavor and texture great and satisfying. I wish I had one now to go with my oatmeal.
I told you I liked food.
