Breaking The Rules and Drink Chia Giveaway!

In the past, I have been “really” cautious about sharing what type of supplements I use. Honestly, I do not use very many. I have always been very adamant about staying as natural as I can. I also do not want people jumping on a bandwagon merely because “I” said something worked for me and then buying up $500 worth of products they cannot use because they are not made like me.

I have been wrong about this. Sort of.

Because people KNOW that I am very particular about what I put in body, know I read labels and I know what I am looking for, know I am quick to stop using something if I find out something about it I don’t like (whether it be a side effect or the ethics of the company), I can comfortably share because, well, sharing is caring 🙂 and that’s how I have learned about a lot of products and brands. I can’t be the first to read up on everything.

So, on a daily basis, I take a sublingual B-12, turmeric (day and night and I love the Gaia brand), I just started taking Glucosamine (Deva has a vegan brand and, hey, I am not getting any younger and these joints are getting louder than my children), vegan DHA and vegan CLA. I was taking a multi-vitamin and I need to restock (and WHY can I see the box but can’t remember the brand? It didn’t make me feel fantastic though but Pure Matters has an AWESOME Active Women’s vitamin that I absolutely adored. Need to purchase that one again). Protein powders, well, I have committed but my favorite is Sun Warrior. I vary between that one and Raw Protein, Vega, Life’s Basics and Plant Fusion. Every now and then, I do some hemp protein. (I get enough soy in my diet and I try to stay away from soy protein powders as much as possible. I just believe in moderation.) I take glutamine and BCAA powders because I have increased my weight training. I always have aloe vera juice and apple cider vinegar for my stomach problems, drink my hot lemon water for detox, drink my Teavana tea for the morning boost (and to kill my Starbucks habit once and for all) and then, there is my Drink Chia.

Can I just say I LOVE this stuff?!?!?!?!

I learned about them from a random post on Instagram. I inquired about the product (I like the word “curious” but really I am nosey.) The company sent me (very quickly, I might add) a few bottles to try. I am one who normally doesn’t like to drink stuff with anything floating around it but I LOVE the chia seeds (which can help balance blood sugar, offer healthy omega 3’s, assist in weight loss and digeston) in the actual drink. 40 calories full of nutrients and great flavor. I drink it before I work out and I feel, not a buzz but an “awakening”, if that makes sense. It’s as if I become more alert. When I drink it after my workout, I feel refreshed and hydrated. I loved them so much that I turned around and bought some more after my samples were gone. If you know me, I have a tendency to just forget stuff when it runs out and just do without. Not these. I am out right now and need to hook myself up.
